Set Up Twilio

Connect Twilio to give your agents SMS and voice capabilities.

Prerequisites​

  • You are signed in to the XpressAI Platform.
  • You have a Twilio account with an active phone number.
  • You have your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token (found on the Twilio Console dashboard).

Steps​

  1. Navigate to Integrations from the sidebar.
  2. Find Twilio in the integrations list.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Enter your Account SID.
  5. Enter your Auth Token.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Test the integration by asking an agent to send a test SMS.

Keep your Auth Token confidential. Anyone with your Account SID and Auth Token can make API calls on your Twilio account.

Use a Twilio subaccount for your XpressAI integration to isolate usage and billing from your other Twilio projects.

Verify​

  • The Twilio integration shows as Connected in the Integrations list.
  • An agent can send an SMS to a phone number and the message is delivered.
