Set Up SendGrid

Connect SendGrid to let your agents send and receive emails through the agent email gateway.

Prerequisites​

  • You are signed in to the XpressAI Platform.
  • You have a SendGrid account with a verified sender identity.
  • You have a SendGrid API key with Mail Send permissions.

Steps​

  1. Navigate to Integrations from the sidebar.
  2. Find SendGrid in the integrations list.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Enter your SendGrid API Key.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Test the integration by asking an agent to send a test email.

The SendGrid integration powers the agent email gateway. Agents can both send outbound emails and process inbound emails routed through your SendGrid configuration.

tip

Use a dedicated API key with only Mail Send permissions rather than a full-access key. This follows the principle of least privilege.

Verify​

  • The SendGrid integration shows as Connected in the Integrations list.
  • An agent can send a test email and the recipient receives it.
